The idea for Common Projects was conceived by designer's Flavio Girolami and Prathan Poopat in the mid 90s. The label was founded by the sneaker enthusiasts as an alternative to the heavily branded pieces on offer at that time. Minimally minded and crafted using the finest materials and techniques from the label's Italian manufacturer, its sneakers are inspired by the shapes and lines of everyday objects. The same can be said for the collection of bags - they now offer a range of totes, duffles, backpacks, shoppers, rucksacks and tech accessory covers with the same stripped-back sensibility.
