Edwin was established in 1947 and is a Japanese fashion brand that is well known for its jeans. At the time that the brand was set up no denim was being produced in Japan and Edwin has, over the years, been something of a denim pioneer, innovating some of the design details that have become standard in the jeans market, from the famous three color rainbow selvedge to the stone washing stylish that revolutionized the entire industry. The brand is also credited with having created the concept of 'new vintage,' where pre-1947 vintage washes are hand created from the fashion archives. As you might expect from such a denim-focused brand, Edwin's pants range includes plenty of jeans. However, there are other styles too, from khakis through to print chinos.
