Ivy Park x Adidas: Following the release of Beyoncé’s IVY PARK x Adidas “ICY PARK” collection last week, searches for Ivy Park pieces spiked 536% week-on-week. In less than 48hrs page views for the brand’s knit white catsuit were up 49% while searches for its monogram short tights increased 55%. Meanwhile, the reversible monogram bucket hat saw searches skyrocket and is currently sold out.

Y2K fashion: Nostalgia for the 2000s has got fashion lovers searching. Looking at the past month searches for “Y2K” and 2000s inspired fashion pieces have increased by 80% year-on-year. Page views for tank tops and camisoles have increased by 63% throughout the past month, with top search terms including “cropped tank top” and “slogan tank top. Pleated, check skirts are up 45% month-on-month, with top searched products including Weekday’s blue pleated skirt, Adidas Originals’ pleated skirt as well as Nike’s Court Victory Tennis skirt. At the same time, front tie cardigans have increased by 40% and argyle cardigans by 47%. Finally, searches for shoulder bags, such as By Far’s “Rachel” or Prada’s 2000 re-edition bag, have increased by 16% over the past 3 weeks.

Plastic rings: Worn by several influencers and celebrities including Gigi and Bella Hadid, Dua Lipa and Miley Cyrus, global searches for plastic rings have been rising since January. Currently, searches for “resin rings” are up 28% month-on-month with “chunky” and “bold” amongst the most popular keywords. Looking at keywords, “colorful” is also trending as page views for “colorful rings” increased 19% since the start of the month. The most sought-after colors are neon green, hot pink and yellow.

Sparkly bras: While the general trend in lingerie is comfort, there is also space for a sprinkle of fantasy and escapism. We are seeing a rise in demand for playful sparkly bras, which has been growing week on week since December. More specifically, during January searches for “sparkle”, “sequin” and “glitter” bras on Lyst grew by 137% compared with the same period last year. &Other Stories, Dolce & Gabbana and H&M are amongst the most popular brands.

Gilets: Global demand for gilets and down vests on Lyst has been growing over the past few months; searches for the category are currently up 63% since January. Looking at the past month, the most commonly used search terms alongside the word gilet are “padded”, “quilted”, “fleece” and “oversized”. At the same time, the most sought-after brands equally for men and women are Canada Goose, Moncler, The North Face and Nike.
