The super thin nylon extrusions are cut, mixed, blown, carded, twisted and spun to mimic natural fibers. The resulting Panama weaved calendered fabric is lighter and stronger than natural fabrics. The garment dyeing procedure, thanks to the uneven penetration into the calendered fabric, lends a marbled look to the surface.
