Turn to The Kooples' collection of knitwear for your everyday staples. The Kooples uses only high quality materials for its knitwear, such as wool, ensuring each piece looks as good as it feels. Look to The Kooples' range of knitwear for a simple way to lift your outfit. Effortlessly cool and well-crafted – The Kooples' knitwear deserve a place in every wardrobe. Wool knitwear need to be cared for properly to ensure they stay looking their best. Proper care and maintenance will help keep wool knitwear in tip-top condition. We recommend checking each item’s care label before cleaning, with most pieces dry clean only, hand wash or machine washable. One of the worst things you can do to wool garments is to wash them in hot water or tumble dry, as high temperatures can cause the fabric to shrink quickly. Most wool clothing can also be dry cleaned safely. Most wool is washable, with the main exception of structured pieces like suits, jackets and blazers, which are best spot cleaned. Heat will shrink wool, so always use lukewarm water to hand wash and select a cool, low-spin cycle on the machine. To ensure your item retains its shape, do not wring or twist when it first comes out the wash, squeeze it gently instead. Soak for up to half an hour, rinse well and press out any water without wringing. If you want to use the machine, make sure the item is turned inside out first, place in a mesh laundry bag and ensure a low-spin, cold-water cycle is selected. Never put your knitwear in the tumble dryer, instead leave to air dry flat on a dry towel. All wool knitwear may pill after a few wears, but these small bobbles can be easily removed with a pilling comb.
