Available in a variety of colours and designs, Rag & Bone's jeans will work as well with your weekday workwear as they will with more casual looks. Look here for highly wearable designs that really go the distance. Denim jeans need to be cared for properly to ensure they stay looking their best. Denim jeans are durable, but do require special attention when cleaning. We advise following the specific instructions on the care label that is stitched into every garment. Washing your denim as infrequently as possible will keep it looking better, fitting better, and lasting longer. After three to five wears, or even biannually for some raw or selvedge styles, is ideal. Turn the item inside out to prevent excessive fading and colour loss, before putting them on a cold-water spin cycle in the machine with a mild detergent. Air drying instead of putting in the tumble dryer is advised, as this will prevent shrinkage and abrasions. Stretch the denim several times during the drying process to retain its original shape. For a guaranteed way to add an air of effortlessness to your look, shop our range of women's designer jeans from Rag & Bone.

The Rag & Bone Jeans Sizing Guide

Rag & Bone women’s jeans range in size from 23 to 32. To determine your size in the brand’s denim, you will need to take measurements of your waist and hips.

Measure around the smallest part of your waist, which is often between your belly button and the bottom of your ribcage

Measure the fullest part of your hip

To find the rise your prefer, measure from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the fly seam

Use the chart below to match your measurements with Rag & Bone sizes. For example, if your waist measures 25” and your hips are 35.5”, then you should take a 24 in Rag & Bone jeans.

How To Care For Your Rag & Bone Jeans

To prolong the life of your Rag & Bone denim, follow the simple tips below.

Denim experts believe that you should limit how often you wash your jeans if they are made from raw denim, as regular washing can affect the fabric and constant wear will create beautiful fading. It is also recommended that you do not wash your new raw denim jeans for at least six months to ensure they look better over time. Jeans can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth to remove stains.

When it is time to wash your jeans, non-rigid and non-raw denim can be put in the washing machine. Rigid and raw denim should be turned inside out and cleaned in a mix of cold water and mild detergent. Leave your jeans to soak for 60 minutes, and occasionally swirl the water to loosen any oil and dirt.

Avoid using a tumble dryer, instead hang your jeans indoors and allow them to air dry naturally.

Where are Rag & Bone jeans made?

Rag & Bone jeans are all made in Los Angeles.

How do Rag & Bone jeans fit?

Rag & Bone’s jeans tend to run true to size. However, this can often depend on whether the jeans are made from stretch-denim or 100% cotton, and on the type of rise.

The brand’s jeans come in four rises:

Low rise: This rise sits on the hip and has a relaxed fit from hip to thigh.

Mid: Mid rise jeans sit above the hip, and are slim through the hip and thigh.

High: A high rise is designed to sit below the waist and is slim or relaxed through the hip and thigh.

Super high: A super high rise sits at the waist and is slim through the hip.

Are Rag & Bone jeans sanforized?

Rag & Bone jeans are sanforized. This is a process that is applied to reduce shrinking, and refers to when denim is fed through a sanforization machine once it has come off the loom and then stretched, shrunk and stabilized with a series of rollers, heat and added moisture. The benefit is that shrinkage on Rag & Bone jeans is limited, whereas unsanforized denim can sometimes shrink up to one or two sizes.
