The Ksubi Jeans Sizing Guide
Ksubi denim is available in US waist sizes and runs true to size, so we recommend purchasing your regular size. If you are unsure of your current size, take a tape measure and measure the widest part of your waist in inches. For an in-between measurement, we recommend taking the larger size for a relaxed fit. If the length of the jeans is too long, bring them to a trusted tailor or seamstress for custom-alterations.
You can use the sizing guide below to convert the label’s UK/US waist size into Italian and French sizing.
How To Care For Your Ksubi Jeans
To properly care for your jeans, we recommend washing them every 5-10 wears. Turn your jeans inside out and place them in the washing machine. This helps preserve the color of your jeans, and gets the dirtiest part of your pants a deeper clean when it meets the soap suds.
Set on a warm cycle with laundry detergent. If your jeans are brand new, we advise you to keep them separate from the rest of your laundry for the first wash in order to prevent dye bleeding onto other garments. When your jeans are ready to be dried, we recommend either laying them flat to air dry or set the dryer on low heat. Refer to the care label in your jeans just in case your pair has additional special requirements, because every Ksubi pair of jeans is unique.
- Where are Ksubi jeans made?
The Australian brand relocated its home base to be produced in the denim capital of the world, Los Angeles, for premium production. There, Ksubi is able to test new wash and design techniques with the very best in the denim industry.
- Will my jeans shrink after I wash them?
Washing your jeans on a high heat setting and drying them in a hot dryer will increase the chances of them shrinking. If you want your jeans to shrink a little after stretching them out, this method should increase the shrinkage to 3-4%. To avoid shrinkage, we recommend machine washing your jeans on a cold setting and laying them flat to air dry.
- Will the dye in my jeans fade away?
The higher the heat setting, the more dye will fade away from the jeans. If you’d like to preserve the dye saturation, wash your jeans on a colder setting and let them air dry, or wash your jeans less between wears.
