Finding himself drawn to the art of costuming while working toward an acting career, Irish-born Jonathan William Anderson decided to switch paths, going on to study menswear at the London College of Fashion. Following on from the success of his first J.W. Anderson menswear line in 2008, the up and coming designer extended his label to include a women's line, launched in 2010. Fusing an androgynous aesthetic with an experimentation in fabric technology and eye-catching prints, his individual designs are praised for their contemporary and unique looks. From refined moccasins to platform lace-ups, J.W. Anderson's collection of shoes give the everyday an avant-garde twist.
