The AMI label was first launched by Alexandre Mattiussi in 2002 but closed before reopening as it is today, in 2011. The designer has since gone on to improve his sales season on season. The first collection was picked up by Barney's and is now stocked in Opening Ceremony and Bergdorf Goodman.
