The designer behind Sutra, Arpita Navlakha, was born into a family of jewellers and developed her love affair with gemstones from an early age. Channeling this into her own designs in 2008, she created Sutra Jewels to be as colourfully diverse as her new client-list , which now includes Michelle Obama, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian. Finding inspiration in Edwardian and Art Deco design, Navlakha illuminates cascading earrings, studded bracelets and pendant necklaces with an array of vibrant stones for red-carpet appeal.
