Launched in 2007, LGR is an Italian eyewear manufacturer that was founded by designer Gnecchi Ruscone. Stumbling across a box of vintage sunglasses in his grandfather's African warehouse, Ruscone was stuck by the beauty of both craftsmanship and design of these long-forgotten items. Inspired to revive the skills used to make these striking accessories, employed a group of talented Italian artisans to handcraft the crystal-lensed shades that are now popular with celebrities and fashion editors around the world. Beautifully finished in retro shapes, LGR accessories range from eighties-style mirrored lenses to tortoiseshell sunglasses reminiscent of a forties safari.
