Geox was founded in 1995 by Italian Mario Polegato and is still based in Italy. The name given to the label is a mix of the Greek word 'geo' and 'X' meaning technology. Indeed, the brand has aimed to consistently experiment with different manufacturing techniques and technologies to suit us in this environments. The label specialises in shoes and clothing in waterproof and breathable fabrics but also extends into a line of fashion bags made of similar materials.
