New York City-based label noah’s newest collection with South Shields-based Barbour explores that intersection, combining the iconic silhouettes of the hardy waxed jackets with spring-ready fabrics and utilitarian details. The Wading jacket exemplifies the collaboration’s philosophy: inspired by Barbour’s Spey jacket, the boxy piece is slightly longer on the body, and swaps the traditional waxed cotton for a light hybrid-aero dry waxed shell that’s reminiscent of classic American workwear.
