Jim Throneburg invented Thorlo in the early 1980s with a vision to be the best in the world at foot protection. Now a third-generation family company, Thorlo continue to be the ‘Caretakers of the World’s feet’, thanks to their padded socks that are still made in the USA to this day. More than thirty years of research and development has also helped them to perfect their acrylic yarn formula to create the right combination of softness and resilience.
