Designer Carin Rodebjer was born and raised on an island in Sweden, where her mother’s love of textile crafts inspired her passion for clothes and sewing. Rodebjer moved to New York City to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology and was fully charmed by the vibrant fashion scene. Since founding her eponymous line in 2001, she has won many awards including Designer of the Year by Swedish ELLE and Fresh Faces of Fashion Award by Gen Art. Rodebjer collections offer fashion-forward apparel with distinct silhouettes, remaining effortlessly elegant and comfortable. Rodebjer has created a signature look that is classic with a contemporary flair, balancing strong lines with subtle detailing and giving closet staples a fresh perspective.
