Launched in 2000, Old Gringo is the brainchild of Ernie Tarut and Yan Ferry, combining 30 years of leather manufacturing and design experience with a true passion for leather boots. Going beyond the traditional cowboy boot, the brand designs and creates artisan handcrafted boots incorporating both vintage influences and a unique contemporary style. Each pair of boots is handcrafted in their own Old Gringo factory in Leon, Mexico, their passion comes through in each collection, from the classics to the Rock Star, Embroidery and Shearling styles. For Tarut and Ferry, it has always been about making the right pair of boots that you can always rely on and that you never want to take off.
