Moynat

Historic trunk brand Moynat was founded in Paris in 1849 during the creation of the French rail network. In 1854 they applied for the first patent for a sturdy canvas coated with Gutta Percha which allowed them to produce revolutionary trunks which were completely watertight. Subsequently in the following years, Moynat launched many more products including a range of ladies handbags, automobile trunks and more decorative designs in later years while collaborating with Henri Rapin. Today, Moynat is still renowned for its timeless luxury leather bags and trunks, made from the finest fabrics available today.
