A rare and unique label, Mata (meaning ‘Mother’ in Hindi) Traders is run by three US college friends, who upon traveling through India became transfixed with its vibrancy and diversity. Founder Maureen Dunn began yearly buying trips and after time noticed her opportunity to make a real social difference there. Providing meaningful work and a space to be heard for women, the brand is committed to making change through its line of retro-inspired womenswear and accessories.
