Natalia Kamenska and Olesya Kononova founded Lake (originally named, Kamenskakononova) in 2008, a designer clothing and accessories label based in Kiev, Ukraine. The designers play withn proportions, offering grown up clothes with sophisticated silhouettes that are oversized or exaggerated. Minimalist and chic, Lake is a huge hit in the industry and in 2012 the brand was awarded Best Women’s Clothing Designer and Best Accessories Designer by the Best Fashion Awards in Ukraine. Vogue has also highlighted Lake as one to watch.
