The design house primarily aims to cater for curvaceous women, with garments that are designed to fit a variety of different shapes. Designing clothes is a passion that's close to Lopez's heart – as a child she would often customize her clothes when she could not afford to buy what she wanted. While the brand is most noted for fragrance and accessories, the line also includes homewear, lingerie and jewelry. On launching the brand, Jennifer Lopez is quoted as saying: “It’s time for the world to wear my look.”
