Ike Behar is an American heritage brand launched in New York in the 1960s by Cuban-American Isaac Behar. In 1952, Behar immigrated to New York City with only fifty dollars to his name.
He took his first job at a small tailor shop, where his talents were recognized and a full time position was offered. From this point on, Behar devoted his life to the craft of shirt making.
Ike Behar collections have expanded beyond to dress shirts to include sport shirts, ties, sport coats, suits, pocket-squares and more. Behar’s commitment to quality and attention to detail have persisted and are apparent in his clothing today.
