Dr. Scholls

William Scholl was born in 1882, the grandson of a cobbler and farmer. His education in foot care started as a boy when he borrowed his grandfather's tools in order to repair shoes to earn extra money. He went on to earn a medical degree in 1904 and started his own company, Dr. Scholl Inc. to combine his expertise in shoes and proper foot health. Over a hundred years later, Dr. Scholl continues to create comfortable footwear solutions in a range of modern styles, from elegant sandals and flats to sneakers and wedge boots.
