Savage x Fenty show: Last week, following the Savage x Fenty Vol.2 show, page views for lingerie and shapewear went up 12% compared to the week before. Searches for Savage x Fenty lingerie specifically, spiked 101% 24 hours after the show released on Friday. Looking at the performers, Lizzo’s outfit was responsible for a 96% spike in searches for blue lingerie whilst the floral sets worn by Paloma Elsesser, Laura Harrier and Nazanin Mandi caused a 83% spike in searches for floral lingerie.

Kenzo: In the days following the death of legendary designer Kenzo Takada, searches for Kenzo pieces increased tenfold on Lyst.

Logo Tights: Searches for statement logo tights are growing quickly – they’re up 61% since September. The most in-demand styles over the past week on Lyst include brands like Gucci, Balenciaga and Fendi while sheer black remains the most popular color

Clogs: Clogs are becoming the comfy-ugly shoe of winter, with searches for the style being up 27% month-on-month. Although Birkenstock is currently the most sought-after brand, with page views for the brand’s Boston clogs increasing 44% since the beginning of September, shoppers are also looking for J.W. Anderson’s Chunky Chain Mules: searches for the piece are up 11% month-on-month.

Halloween: Searches for Halloween outfits have started to increase constantly since mid-August and they’re currently up 57% week-on-week. Searches for “halloween pyjamas” in particular have increased by 130% over the past week. Interest for animal print pieces has also been trending in recent weeks. Pageviews of tiger, leopard and zebra print pieces have collectively surged 335% over the past month, suggesting that Tiger King will be a Halloween favourite.

Royalty for Everybody: In the past Royals have been known for having extravagant and expensive wardrobes. In recent months, however, they have been mixing it up wearing increasingly more affordable brands and by doing so making royalty a bit more approachable for everybody.

Searches for H&M dresses grew by ​57% on 15 June after Victoria of Sweden wore one to celebrate her tenth wedding anniversary, for example. Furthermore, the interest for Zara dresses soared after Queen Letizia wore a dress by the Spanish fashion giant in June at a discount price of less than 20 euros, making it the most-wanted Zara dress globally in the last six months. In June Kate Middleton switched her jewellery up for a pair of Accessorize earrings, after which the searches on Lyst for ‘Accessorize earrings’ increased by ​105%​ week-on-week. Contemporary royalty have also started to take pride in recycling and reworking clothes, receiving a lot of approval by the public. Princess Beatrice borrowed a dress from her grandmother Queen Elizabeth for her wedding in July, and in the following ​48 hours searches on Lyst for vintage wedding dresses increased by 2​97%​.
