House of Gucci trailer: Following the release of the official trailer searches for “polka dot dress” and “lace dress” – both styles worn by Lady Gaga’s character – increased 100% week-on-week. The accessories featured on the clip were also popular amongst Lyst shoppers: page views for Gucci scarves and Gucci aviator glasses (as seen on Adam Driver) have grown 67% and 16% respectively compared to the previous week.

Raffia bags: Raffia bags have become a true staple this summer. Spotted on influencers and celebrities, the Prada Raffia Tote bag, in particular, has gotten fashion lovers searching – in July, searches for the bag increased by 296%. Meanwhile, pageviews for similar raffia bag styles have also grown by 43%.

Strappy sandals: With summer in full swing, strappy sandals are having a moment. Shoppers are mainly looking for wraparound styles with searches for “wrap tie” and “lace up” sandals increasing collectively 39% month-on-month; pieces such as Cult Gaia’s Freya sandals and Jil Sander’s strappy leather sandals have topped fashion lovers’ wishlists over the past few weeks. At the same time, demand for gladiator sandals has also grown 25%.

Festival fashion: With Lollapalooza kicking off 2021’s (delayed) festival season, fashion lovers are increasingly looking into going-out and summery pieces. Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve noticed an increasing demand for floral mini dresses (+17%), tie-dye tops (+11%) and fringed dresses (+11%). Bold accessories such as chunky chains (+31%) and cowboy boots (+24%) are also high in demand. Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus’s outfit on the main stage at Lollapalooza sent searches for Gucci playsuits spiking 71% a few hours after her performance.

Regencycore 2.0: Regencycore is trending again with Dua Lipa and Billie Eilish leading the trend. Following the release of “Demeanor” searches for corsets on Lyst jumped 43% week-on-week whilst page views for “corset tops” increased 31% week-on-week.
