Cut Outs and Backless Dresses: While interest for cut out pieces has been consistently high since May, searches for “open back dresses” in particular are up 18% since the start of June. Shoppers are viewing backless satin dresses as well as voluminous open back dresses. Searches have increased by 70% and 55% respectively over the last month. Sir the Label’s Alena Open-Back dress and Cult Gaia’s Serita dress have been popular in searches over the past couple of weeks.

Anklets and Chain Detail: Searches for anklets are up 55% month-on-month. In particular, shoppers are looking for ‘beaded’, ‘chain’ and ‘shell’ anklets. The most viewed brands over the past week include Missoma, Alighieri and Anissa Kermiche. Searches for “chain strap heels” have also increased significantly and are up 30% week-on-week. Most in demand are those by Jimmy Choo, Miu Miu and Tom Ford.

Bermuda Denim Shorts: Demand for knee-length denim shorts rose 28% since the start of this month. White denim and light blue wash styles are proving popular; while top trending brands in searches include Frame and Levis.

Boxer Shorts: Searches for boxer shorts went up 13% this week. With more women wearing them lately, searches including the term “boxer shorts for women” increased 25% week-on-week. 

Fruity Prints:If we look at the last month year on year, searches for fruit print pieces are up 31%. Shoppers are mainly looking for ‘cherry’ and ‘lemon’ prints while the most popular product categories are dresses, tops and swimwear. Searches for fruit jewelry have increased 9% week-on-week. Following the release of Harry Styles’s music video for “Watermelon Sugar,” last month fashion searches for the keyword “watermelon” increased 11% in less than 24h and demand is still growing strong.
