Euphoria: The announcement of Euphoria’s season 2 and the screening of two “special” episodes has gotten shoppers searching on Lyst. Since the premiere of the second special episode on January 24th, searches for Collina Strada increased by 154%. The brand’s most searched items were this Pink Top, Sheer Blouse, Long blue skirt and Tie-Dye maxi dress. Searches for the Stussy psychedelic print shirt, worn by Rue, increased by 50% and the shirt is currently sold out. Furthermore, shoppers are looking for white slip-on Vans (+46%) as well as checked, pleated skirts (+24%).
Lupin: The French Netflix series has been driving online fashion searches for menswear since its drop on the 8th of January. Nike Air Jordan sneakers, like the ones Assane Diop wears were up 36% compared to the week before the launch. Flat caps have also proven to be popular, with interest increasing 43% in the weeks after the episodes were aired. Tracksuit jackets, which the charming protagonist wears with long coats, have been trending as well, being 22% more popular in January compared to the previous month. The more formal sartorial styles shown in Lupin are also a hit with the viewers: 3 piece suits have increased 68% in searches during January.
Call My Agent: In less than 2 weeks since its launch on Netflix, the fourth and final season of French show Call My Agent has been influencing shoppers to look more into Parisian inspired outfits. Searches influenced by Andréa’s cool wardrobe including skinny jeans (+49%), sharp blazers (+36%) and cashmere pieces (+144%) have all increased over the past couple of weeks while demand for the colors “navy” and “bottle green” have spiked 45% and 71% respectively. Moreover, Noémie’s feminine outfits have sent searches for print and floral dresses (+103% collectively) soaring. The hot pink tie top she wears on the last episode has caused a 25% increase in page views for pink tie-neck blouses.
It’s a Sin: Within each of the series powerful episodes, it is Roscoe Babatunde’s style that stands out. Since the launch of the series, we’ve seen a 60% jump in searches for acid-wash jeans whilst searches for chockers increased 32% over the past two weeks. Meanwhile, over the same period, page views for sleeveless T-shirts went up 29%.
