Women's Pink Ruffled Top: Oversized Long Sleeve Chiffon With Back Buttons

The Ruffled Top is made from a chiffon that is ruffled in the cloth itself rather than gathered afterwards, which is why it holds its shape and moves the way it does. The neckline is round, and the chiffon runs plain from there down to just above the bust. From there the ruffles take over and run horizontally all the way to the hem. The sleeves do the opposite. Their ruffles run vertically down the arm, long to the wrist, and gather into an elastic cuff. It fastens with buttons down the back.It is cut oversized on purpose. Wear it with tailored pants for the evening, or over something narrow in the day. It is the piece that makes an outfit out of things you already own.Fit note: oversized means it skims the body rather than following it, so take your usual size unless you want it fuller still. If you are between sizes, we recommend the larger. The model is 172 cm and wears a size S.Measurements for the size S: bust 100 cm, shoulder to hem 55 cm, shoulder 37 cm, sleeve 67 cm.How are the ruffles made? They are part of the fabric, not stitched on. The cloth is woven and finished so the ruffle holds in the chiffon itself, which keeps the top light. It also means the ruffle never flattens with wear.Is the chiffon see through?Through the body the ruffles lie over one another, so the cloth doubles and trebles on itself and is not sheer. The plain panel across the very top, above the bust, is finer by design, and it is the part that gives the top its lightness. How does it fasten? With buttons down the back, which is what keeps the front clean and lets the ruffles run unbroken from the bust to the hem. What do I wear it with?Tailored pants are the obvious answer and the best one, because a wide top over a narrow leg is a shape that works on everybody. It also sits well over a straight skirt, and in the day over jeans.See the resort pieces Color: pink
