The Ruffled Top is made from a chiffon that is ruffled in the cloth itself rather than gathered afterwards, which is why it holds its shape and moves the way it does.The neckline is round, and the chiffon runs plain from there down to just above the bust. From there the ruffles take over and run horizontally all the way to the hem. The sleeves do the opposite. Their ruffles run vertically down the arm, long to the wrist, and gather into an elastic cuff. It fastens with buttons down the back.It is cut oversized on purpose. Wear it with tailored trousers for the evening, or over something narrow in the day. It is the piece that makes an outfit out of things you already own.Fit note: oversized means it skims the body rather than following it, so take your usual size unless you want it fuller still.
