Cult label Rodarte was founded in Pasadena, California in 2005 by sisters, Laura and Kate Mulleavy. Their first collection comprised of 10 hand finished pieces and within days of showing their collection to buyers in New York their designs had been featured on the cover of Women’s Wear Daily. Known for their meticulous eye for detail the Mulleavy sisters incorporate hand stitching, dyed fabrics and innovative knit-wear techniques to create their unique take on contemporary couture. ▼
