Fashion design runs in the family blood of Englishman Neil Barrett. His grandfather and great-grandfather were both master tailors in Southern England. So it was no shock when Barrett enrolled in Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design, and launched his own label in 1999. He’s been creating sleek collections for the modern man where fit is key. Impressed with the results, Barrett was hired in 2003 by Italy’s national football team to create formal and training wear. Hollywood has also tapped him to design for movies such as Spiderman and having Brad Pitt flaunt his jackets in Mr. and Mrs. Smith. By 2006 he opened the doors creating a women’s line that still emphasized clean, fit and sleek. Both men and women’s lines land on the darker side of the color spectrum but modern professional is stamped across all garments.
