Mary Katrantzou
Known for her hyper-realistic prints Mary Katrantzou has become something of a fashion darling in recent seasons. Since graduating from Central St.Martins, Greek born Katrantzou has received huge success for her digitally printed designs and industrial jewellery which has been the talk of London Fashion Week. There is always a strong motif that runs through her collections, previous inspiration has come from perfume bottles, blown glass and portraits of Madame de Pompadour. Katrantzou’s latest offering is inspired by trompe l’oeil interiors; with dresses emblazoned with lampshades, gold window panes and baroque dining room tables. ▼
