Equipment shirts were one of the most coveted items to own in the eighties and early nineties and thanks to new financial backing from Serge Azria, creative director of Current/Elliot, the brand was revived for Spring 2010. The brand was first started in 1979 by Christian Restoin (longtime partner of Carine Roitfeld, editor of French vogue.) Equipment have placed added focus on the brand’s signature piece- the loose, silk shirt with two tailored pockets. This season’s styles include snake, crocodile and camouflage prints all with a neutral colour palette.
