The brand has always been known for its ultra-feminine designs which often feature layers and delicate florals. In early 2010 it was announced that British designer Giles Deacon was to be appointed creative director in order to breathe new life into the company. Deacon’s first collection was hailed as a success as he combined his own style of vivaciousness with the classic cuts of early Ungaro.
