Nasty Gal is a youthful brand with a trend driven, uncompromisingly feminine aesthetic. It was inspired by Betty Davis, wife of Miles Davis, who the brand loves for being 'the patron saint of badass women.' While the brand itself was established in 2012, it has its roots in a Los Angeles vintage shop of the same name, which began life in 2006. The Nasty Gal aesthetic is young and confident, incorporating innovative new takes on different trends and giving women a chance to express themselves through what they wear, from accessories clothing to jewelry. The hosiery line is as inventive as you would expect, with knee and ankle socks in a wide range of patterns, shredded and embellished tights and fun prints from cats to melons.
