Na Kd's collection of tops revolves around top-quality fabrics and meticulous tailoring that'll last for years to come. Crafted from materials such as silk, cotton-jersey and breathable linen, the brand’s range has expanded to include blouses, shirts, T-shirts, long-sleeve and short-sleeve tops.
Available in both muted hues and more colorful options, Na Kd crafts its tops from fabrics like lightweight linen, soft cotton and luxurious silk to ensure a high-quality finish to every piece. They'll look just as good with a pair of tailored pants as they will with dark-wash denim.
As cotton can often be prone to shrinking when it is washed and dried, it is recommended to check the individual care label for each piece and follow the instructions carefully. Cotton can sometimes be prone to shrinking when it is washed and dried, and to prevent this happening it is recommended to use water that is 30°C or below, either by hand or in the washing machine. Colored cotton garments should be turned inside out before washing. Allow to air dry naturally, and give garments a gentle stretch to restore shapes as soon as they come out of the wash.
Linen is ideal for warmer weather, and is also easy to care for. It is best to check the care instructions on the label before cleaning, but linen can usually be hand washed or put in the washing machine. Regular laundering will lead to softer garements over time. Similar to cotton, linen has a tendency to shrink. We therefore recommend that you avoid cleaning the fabric in hot water, and instead wash linen in warm or cold water. Avoid using bleach on linen, as this can damage the fibers. Remove your linen as soon as possible after washing to avoid wrinkles, and leave to dry flat naturally. Store your linen garments in a cool, dry place, and avoid wrapping them in plastic.
Few fabrics feel as luxurious as silk, and in order to keep it in its original condition for longer, we recommend carefully following the care instructions found on each individual item’s label. Some silk is ‘Dry Clean Only’, while other items may have ‘Dry Clean’ as the recommended cleaning method, but other methods may be used. If you do decide to hand wash silk, always use lukewarm water and a specific, mild detergent in order to protect the silk’s natural properties. Turn the item inside out, and soak for up to 30 minutes, then rinse with cool water to remove any remaining soap. Avoid putting in the tumble dryer and instead lay flat to dry naturally. If you need to clean in the machine, first place in a laundry bag, select a delicate, cold-water cycle and remove promptly once the cycle has finished to reduce wrinkles. If the care label on your silk item says that it can be ironed, then use a low iron setting and ideally iron while it is still slightly damp.
