Tommy Hilfiger's shorts aren't just for sunny vacations; thanks to the precision-cut silhouette they'll work in smarter settings too. They come in a selection of fits, cuts and colors; from neutral hues to bold, eye-catching prints.

The breathable cut and fabrication of Tommy Hilfiger's shorts are ideal for warm-weather days: think linen and cotton. The label crafts its shorts from everything from brushed-cotton to denim and linen, in a range of colors. Wear yours with a simple T-shirt and leather sandals for the weekend.

Cotton is one of the most popular fabrics, and there are many different types of cotton fabric. We suggest checking the care instructions for the specific item before washing. Cotton can sometimes be prone to shrinking when it is washed and dried, and to prevent this happening it is recommended to use water that is 30°C or below, either by hand or in the washing machine. This will help avoid color fading and dye transfer. Allow to air dry naturally.

The brand’s products will be made from either 100% cotton or stretch-denim and can usually be hand washed or put in the washing machine. We would always recommend checking the care label inside your garment before attempting to clean. There may be specific styles that are dry clean only. It is worth noting that before denim is washed, the dye from your indigo pieces may rub off on light-colored fabric, leather and upholstery. To make color last longer, wash inside out with cold water, with like colors. Denim should not be left in direct sunlight, as this can cause discoloration. Avoid using a tumble dryer, instead hang your garment indoors to air dry naturally.

Made from the fibers of the flax plant, linen is simple to care for and can generally be both hand and machine washed. It can usually be washed by hand or in the washing machine, and will actually benefit by regular laundering as it becomes softer over time. Similar to cotton, linen has a tendency to shrink. We therefore recommend that you avoid cleaning the fabric in hot water, and instead wash linen in warm or cold water. Avoid using bleach on linen, as this can damage the fibers. Linen is fast drying, and it is best to lay flat and allow to air dry. Store your linen garments in a cool, dry place, and avoid wrapping them in plastic.
