Dolce Gabbana has mastered the art of designing skirts that are elegant, yet still make an impact. From styles that fall to a tiered maxi length, to designs that are cut for a close fit with a high-rise waist to emphasize your narrowest point, expect the label’s skirts to create a naturally modern and flattering look.
Expect Dolce Gabbana's skirts to be crafted from premium materials like wool, silk, cotton and more for a high-quality finish. They’ll look equally good with a camisole and strappy sandals, as they will with a graphic T-shirt and sneakers for a more casual look.
Whether your garment is cotton or cotton-blend, there is the possibility that it may shrink if not properly cared for. As cotton is prone to shrinkage, it’s best to clean in water that is 30°C or below. This will help avoid color fading and dye transfer. Allow to air dry naturally, and give garments a gentle stretch to restore shapes as soon as they come out of the wash.
To help keep your silk items soft and in excellent condition for years to come, it is recommended to follow the instructions on each item’s care label. Some silk products are strictly dry clean only, while others can be hand washed or machine washed on a gentle, cold-water cycle. If your silk is suitable for hand washing, use lukewarm water and a specific, mild detergent to help protect the silk’s natural properties. Turn the item inside out, and soak for up to 30 minutes, then rinse with cool water to remove any remaining soap. Silk should not be tumble dried, and instead can be laid flat to dry naturally. If you need to clean in the machine, first place in a laundry bag, select a delicate, cold-water cycle and remove promptly once the cycle has finished to reduce wrinkles. If the care label on your silk item says that it can be ironed, then use a low iron setting and ideally iron while it is still slightly damp.
Washing wool isn’t as challenging as it seems, and depending on the item, it is simple to spot clean or washable by hand or in the machine. Most wool is washable, with the main exception of structured pieces like suits, jackets and blazers, which are best spot cleaned. Generally, most wool is washable and will need to be turned inside out before being washed at temperatures of 30°C or less using a specialist wool detergent. To minimize the risk of shrinkage, it is advised to soak in cold water before you put in the machine. Dry naturally away from heat and strong direct sunlight. To ensure a silky, smooth appearance to your wool garment, iron inside-out on a low temperature setting, ideally when it is still damp.
