Dolce Gabbana's jackets are a great option when it comes to dressing during the in-between months. Expect fresh interpretations of classic styles: think trucker, aviator, bomber and blazer silhouettes.
Striking the ideal balance between classic and contemporary, Dolce Gabbana constructs its designs from wool and cotton-blends, as well as denim and leather. The label’s jackets can be layered over everything from simple T-shirts to roll-neck sweaters at the weekend.
Before cleaning leather, we recommend removing any large pieces of dirt and dust by dry cleaning with a soft brush. Persistent stains can be removed with a specialist leather cleaner. Although a leather protector won't safeguard leather from all abrasions, creases, and scuff marks, it is an extra step to take to ensure the leather ages well. Follow by polishing, which helps leather items regain their shine.
Cotton is one of the most popular fabrics, and there are many different types of cotton fabric. We suggest checking the care instructions for the specific item before washing. As cotton is prone to shrinkage, it’s best to clean in water that is 30°C or below. This will help avoid color fading and dye transfer. Gently stretch cotton to restore the original shape and air dry naturally.
Before cleaning your denim, we would advise checking the care label on your garment and following the instructions carefully. Generally, denim can be hand washed or put in the washing machine. There may be specific styles that are dry clean only. It is worth noting that before denim is washed, the dye from your indigo pieces may rub off on light-colored fabric, leather and upholstery. To make color last longer, wash inside out with cold water, with like colors. Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight, bleach and harsh chemical cleaners. Avoid ironing and do not dry in the tumble dryer, instead allow denim to air dry naturally away from direct heat and sunlight.
Washing wool isn’t as challenging as it seems, and depending on the item, it is simple to spot clean or washable by hand or in the machine. Most wool is washable, with the main exception of structured pieces like suits, jackets and blazers, which are best spot cleaned. Otherwise, most wool can be either hand washed, or washed in the machine on a gentle cycle of 30°C or less, using a mild PH neutral detergent and turned inside out first. To reduce the risk of shrinkage, soak your wool item in cold water before machine washing. Dry wool knitwear flat and away from direct heat or sunlight. To ensure a silky, smooth appearance to your wool garment, iron inside-out on a low temperature setting, ideally when it is still damp.
