To prolong the original condition of your product, we recommend cleaning the leather with a dry soft cloth and specialist cleaner. A specialist leather cleaner can be used to remove stubborn stains from leather. Although a leather protector won't safeguard leather from all abrasions, creases, and scuff marks, it is an extra step to take to ensure the leather ages well. Use a waterproofing spray to protect against liquid stains, and apply specialist leather waxes and creams to bring back the shine when needed.
As cotton can often be prone to shrinking when it is washed and dried, it is recommended to check the individual care label for each piece and follow the instructions carefully. We recommend hand or machine washing in cold water of 30°C or below. Colored cotton garments should be turned inside out before washing. Cotton pieces can then be gently stretched to restore the original shape. Air dry cotton naturally.
To properly take care of your denim, avoid washing after every wear, as regular washing can affect the affect the finish of the fabric. However, we would always recommend following the specific instructions on the care label that is stitched into every garment. There may be specific styles that are dry clean only. It is worth noting that before denim is washed, the dye from your indigo pieces may rub off on light-colored fabric, leather and upholstery. To make color last longer, wash inside out with cold water, with like colors. Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight, bleach and harsh chemical cleaners. Avoid using a tumble dryer, instead hang your garment indoors to air dry naturally.
Wool is a soft, natural fiber that can be prone to shrinking if not cared for properly. The best way to care for wool will vary depending on the type of garment that requires cleaning. If your wool item is structured, such as a blazer, suit, or coat, then we recommend to spot clean. Some wool is suitable for machine washing, once it has been turned inside out and put on a 30°C gentle cycle. To prevent shrinkage, it is advised to soak your garment in cold water before placing it in the machine. Never tumble dry wool, instead dry flat away from direct heat or sunlight. Hang structured wool, such as jackets and suits, to dry on hangers.
