I have about 8 different styles and very seldom wear anything else. Wear these-brown or black pair- everyday with jeans to work in an office. If it is too cold or wet, then I will wear the Specialist or Chukka style that I have. I started wearing Crocs in 2011 when I was taking chemo pills and had problems with my feet. I found Crocs to be so comfortable and they let my feet breath and stay cool-something hard to do. When I was at the oncology center, I was very surprised when I would look around and see so many others wearing Crocs, but guess they found out too how comfortable they are! Thanks for taking care of us! I wear these for work and when I am casual and recovering (from work). I am an RN and I work at an inpatient detox unit. My schedule 12+ hours per day, 3-4 days per week. My feet are comfortable all day and they are not sore when I get home. I am 6'2" and 280 lbs. They have a professional look and are non-slip. I feel safe when walking on all surfaces. I am about to buy my second pair of Men's Yukon Mesa Clogs in black. They do not look like clogs or crocks, they have a dressier look than you would expect from a clog/croc and they work well with my scrubs. Extremely comfortable, tread lasts less than one month. These are ok, but don't quite live up to the original Yukon Clog. I have several pairs of the original Yukon Clog, and I wear them most days. I wear Roomy fit Crocs for width, a generous instep, and a wide and roomy toe box. The Yukon Mesa fits ok, but are a little skimpier all around compared to the original Yukon. I'm looking forward to the next iteration of the Yukon line, with the leather trim that makes them acceptable (for me) to wear to work but still has the fit that I need. I'm hoping the next iteration returns more to the fit of the original Yukon Clog and the Classic Croc Clog. Years ago I got my first Crocs, the original brown ones with leather uppers (Yukon I think), and I was blown away by the comfort. It was a revelation. I wore them constantly. They have started wearing out. So I got these which are very close in appearance. Unfortunately they are no where near as comfortable, the rubber feels harder and they rub in several places. They also have a distracting squeak with every step. The first Crocs I got were comfortable from the second I put my foot in them. I've had these a few months and they are still not all that comfortable. They are okay, but the reason we wear shoes as ugly as these is that they are supposed to be supremely comfortable. These are not. And for a block of rubber they are not cheap either. For this reason I'm giving this shoe a 1 star rating. I think the folks at Crocs have forgotten why we love these ugly shoes. Already falling apart after only 5 months. Velcro area is coming unglued and stiching around edge of front. Got these for my husband. He loves them. He wore them for the first on a three-day trip to the Disney Parks, and did not complain of foot/ankle pain, as he usually does when a lot of waling and standing is involved. In fact, there were the only shoes he wore for the whole weekend! Actually I bought these 2 pairs of yukon mesa clog for my husband to replace the yukon mesa clog I had bought for him last year. He loved those so much, I think he has worn them every day since he got them. He said they were a perfect fit but that they were getting worn so he needed another pair. Unfortunately, the size seems to be off. The size 7 last year was a perfect fit but the size 7 this year is a little tight with his toes butting against the front. I am getting to ready to return them for the larger size which I am afraid might be too big.
