Be Inspired

More product details

Velvet leather ankle sandals This summer, Carven is inspired by travel... Channelling student-boho chic, the Carven woman takes her silhouette on an imaginary journey where each exotic stop provides a new influence. The collection is inspired by Ancient Greece, the treasures of Egypt and the red earth of South America. The silhouette is leggy with a pronounced waist. Lots of little dresses, short shorts and textured crossover skirts. Many of the fabrics appear to have been spontaneously draped and knotted around the body. The tongue-in-cheek impudence of the bustier dress rubs shoulders with the rigour of a button-through shirt-dress. Baroque embroidery makes a discreet appearance on collars. The cowl neck cape hides the view of a forgotten ancient site. The spirit is fresh. The materials are crackled, sun-kissed like this silk boucle and sometimes have a look of crumpled paper...The colours include splashes of mandarin, lavender, bronze and mint, on a background of graphic black and white bayadere. The exclusive prints resemble a treasure map on a scarf or marble on a technical base. Lastly, the reworked backpack and clutch, the “Western” necktie worn like a precious jewel, the rib belt and the bow-covered shoes underline the very Parisian elegance of this inspired traveller.
