I personally did not purchase these shoes for myself, I got them for my boyfriend because he is an MMA fighter. His first time wearing them to go wrestle all of his gym mates loved how they look, which he did too haha. AND he said they're perfect for wrestling. He has absolutely no complaints about them. From his opinion, these are all-around great shoes for wrestling! Make sure you get them half a size bigger than your actual size. I got these last year as a high school freshman for my first wrestling season and they worked really well, but I was so disappointed when I put them on last week to drill with my teammates and noticed that the tounge had ripped out of the shoe, similar to other comments. Overall I recommend them for any beginners but would stay away if you want a long lasting pair of wrestling shoes. Ps sizing is a half size larger than regular adidas sneakers. I'm not a wrestler or boxer but I workout 5 to 6 days a week. I love to wear wrestling shoes at the gym. I own about 14 or 15 different pairs of various brands. I purchase them for look and fit. While Adidas is always an excellent fit, I have but one complaint. The black suede on their shoes will fade as soon as you wash them - even in cold water. After fading, they start to look old. As for sizing, I always get a full size larger. I wear a 9.5 but I order a 10.5 and the fit is perfect. Very comfortable and flexible- have not had them long enough to know how they will wear. Price was in correct price range for shoe. These were the only option for my son who has extremely wide feet. Wrestling shoes are always hard to buy for him but these worked perfect for him. Im not a wrestler, but these shoes are great for wide feet and ankle support. I get a better workout when i wear them. My trainer gets hype when he sees me in them. He puts me to work! These shoes equal total workout plus maximum effort. I only wish they came in a variety of colors for women. Us women like to match our shoes to active wear outfits. Love 'em. I bought these today at dicks sporting goods it was a very good purchase I love how the tounge is free and how breathable before I had Matt wizards these are way better but adidas is the best for wrestling shoes hands down. Like the design. Expected a better grip but has some slip on sole. Might just need more break in. Color: gray
