Rachel Brosnahan Is the Face of Kate Spade’s Latest Campaign

Rachel Brosnahan, star of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, is the face of the Spring campaign for Frances Valentine, an accessories line launched in 2016 by Kate Spade and her husband Andy, which is named after their daughter. The actress, who is the niece of the late designer, announced the news in a TV interview with Today, where she explained that “It’s really lovely to see those special pieces of our family reflected through this collection and the ones before.”

Brosnahan also touched on the fact that becoming the face of the Spring 2019 collection was “the most natural thing” for her. “When you lose someone you love very, very much, you spend a lot of time trying to think about how to keep their spirit alive,” she told Hoda Kotb. “There is so much of her left behind and this was an opportunity for us to celebrate her life and her legacy.”

The new Frances Valentine collection, which is available now, pays homage to Spade’s own style and is described as being “vintage modern, it’s keeping Kate’s designs and creativity and spirit alive.” It includes colourful tote bags, bow-adorned kitten heels, Instagram-friendly basket bags, and playful jewellery.
