The weekend is just around the corner, so if you haven’t sorted your plans then the recent announcement from adidas x Stella McCartney is about to change that. To launch its spring-summer 2018 collection, the brand is hosting a series of workout sessions with a difference. Held at the Bandier fitness space, Studio B, in Manhattan, adidas x Stella McCartney is putting on a series of Hologram Workout Sessions from March 1 to March 4. So if you haven’t already got your weekend yoga session booked in, now is your chance.

Inspired by the brand’s new mission “LESS IMPACT = MORE POWER”, the workout series celebrates the launch of the most environmentally friendly adidas x Stella McCartney collection yet. The Hologram Workout Sessions will support this sustainable mission by making use of virtual reality and holograms which don’t impact the environment as much as having a physical demonstration would.

Visitors to Bandier this weekend will be able to take part in immersive experiences courtesy of Chroma Yoga, a London-based yoga studio that’s going to be providing New Yorkers with its multi-sensory sessions for the first time ever in the US. Upon entering the studio, visitors will be introduced to the concept with a virtual appearance from Stella McCartney. They’ll then get taken through a yoga flow from Chroma Yoga tutor Clara Baker who will be teaching classes via a hologram.

The Bandier studio will also host some specially designed booths where visitors can create a hologram of themselves that can then be taken home. There’ll be a customization station too, so along with learning about the adidas x Stella McCartney sustainability mission shoppers can get pieces from the new SS18 collection personalized.

Covering activewear for running, training, yoga, and swimming, the spring/summer 2018 range showcases the signature style of Stella McCartney combined with the advanced technology of adidas across a wide range of clothing, footwear and accessories. Recycled polyester, recycled Parley Ocean Plastic and organic cotton are just some of the fibers used to make the sustainable yet performance-driven collection.

The brand’s sporty yet feminine style is reflected through nature-inspired abstract prints, ombré effects and spring colors like sky blue and blush pink contrasted with black and white. Everything from lightweight jackets, sculpting tank tops and compression leggings make up the range alongside new colorways of the Ultraboost, Bounce and Barricade sneakers. There’s also a full range of accessories for the new season including gym bags, training mats, gloves and hats.
