Turn to Lyst's collection of wool knitwear for your everyday staples. Each piece is crafted with care and every detail is carefully considered. Combining a minimalist design with expert craftsmanship, it’s easy to see why these pieces are so popular. High-quality pieces that are made from wool require a little care and maintenance to keep them looking their best. To maintain the appearance and prolong the life of wool, it will need to be cleaned and treated properly. We recommend checking what is specified on the item’s care label, knitwear will be dry clean only, hand wash or machine washable on a delicate cycle. One of the worst things you can do to wool garments is to wash them in hot water or tumble dry, as high temperatures can cause the fabric to shrink quickly. Most wool clothing can also be dry cleaned safely. Some wool pieces, such as a suit, blazer or coat, would benefit from spot cleaning. When washing, use a gentle detergent that is specially designed for wool, turn inside out and always use a delicate cycle on the machine that has a temperature of 30°C or less. To prevent shrinkage, it is advised to soak your garment in cold water before placing it in the machine. Allow to dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sunlight. To remove wrinkles, steam or iron on a low-heat setting with a pressing cloth between the wool and the fabric. Choose from a wide range of styles in our selection. There’s something here for everybody.
