The Most Wanted Stüssy Hats

  • Stüssy Bucket Hats

First made popular by skaters in the 80s and 90s, the demand for the brand’s bucket hats has returned. Expect styles made from cotton-canvas, wool and tweed, and accented with breathable eyelets and logo embroidery.

  • Stüssy Baseball Caps

The brand’s collection of baseball caps includes everything from simple black versions to corduroy and checked designs. Most come embroidered with the distinctive logo that first came about when founder Shawn Stüssy started writing his name on surfboards in the 80s.

  • Stüssy Beanies

Refine cold-weather style with Stüssy’s knitted beanies, which are available in a wide variety of colors and designs. Many are made from a soft acrylic fabric with a ribbed finish, and are embroidered with the brand's recognizable logo at the cuff.

The Stüssy Hat Sizing Guide

Need help with what size to get to fit your head comfortably? Stüssy’s driver caps and cotton-canvas bucket hats come in a choice of S/M or L/XL. The brand’s baseball caps and beanie hats are only available in one size, but come in either a naturally stretchy fabric or feature an adjustable strapback fastening for a comfortable fit.

As a guide, if you have a head circumference of 60 centimeters or 23.5 inches, you should buy your Stüssy hat in a size S/M. To measure the circumference of your head, simply wrap the measuring tape around head just above the ears and avoid pulling the tape too tight.

How do you clean a Stüssy hat?

How you clean your hat will depend on what material it is made from. All Stüssy hats come with a care label inside, which will tell you the fabric and the best way to maintain its original condition.

• We would recommend always following the care instructions on the label, but beanie hats can typically be hand washed in lukewarm water with a delicate laundry detergent.

• To keep your Stüssy cotton-twill baseball cap looking its best, spot clean with a damp cloth or hand wash in cold water with a gentle laundry detergent. Avoid machine washing, using bleach or tumble drying your baseball cap. Let the hat air dry naturally and away from direct sunlight, which can cause fading and discoloration.

• The brand’s velvet baseball caps and fleece driver caps are spot clean only, while the cotton-canvas bucket hats can be hand washed.

How much does a Stüssy hat cost?

Stüssy’s hats range in price from £38 for a cuff beanie detailed with the label’s logo, to a signature embroidered baseball cap for £86. However, most Stüssy hat cost between £40 and £55. It is also worth noting that some styles will vary in price depending on the retailer.

Which Stüssy hat should I buy?

If you are in need of a warm, close-fitting knit cap to keep you warm on cold days, look no further than a Stüssy beanie hat. The brand’s bucket hats are usually associated with summer thanks to a wide brim that has been adapted for shielding your eyes from the sun’s rays, but corduroy, tweed and wool versions make some suitable for Winter too.
