Saint James

Saint James is an historic French label best known for pioneering the iconic, quintessentially French striped fisherman’s sweater. It dates back to 1850, when the Legallais family's spinning plant, Les Filatures de Saint-James, began producing the yarn that local women used to craft these nautical sweaters. To this day, still located in the small village of Saint James, the company stays true to its roots. Its woollen Breton knitwear continues to be coveted by discerning customers everywhere from Paris to Tokyo and New York.

Renowned for their quality, durability and classic style, these must-have sweaters make a stunning addition to any fall/winter wardrobe. Close-knit quality and double-twist wool protect the wearer against the elements, while side-buttoned detailing and colourful stripes capture the spirit of French heritage.
