Rebecca Minkoff

After moving to New York City at 18 to pursue her dream of becoming a fashion designer, Rebecca Minkoff designed a version of the I Love New York T-shirt as part of a five-piece capsule collection in 2001. The T-shirt became an overnight sensation, and was followed in 2005 by Rebecca Minkoff’s first bag, the Morning After Bag, a.k.a. the M.A.B. This now-iconic bag inspired the label’s downtown romantic-themed designs, which include the M.A.C cross-body, Julian backpack and Love clutch.
