Murphy & Nye

Murphy & Nye was founded in 1933. The label was named after Jum Murphy, the legendary founder of the iconic sail-manufacturing company Channon Company Ship Chandfler in 1879, and world champion sailor Harry Nye Jr. Originally formed to give sailors high quality and comfortable clothing, today the same maritime spirit can still be found woven through its sailwear and sportswear collections. Each design is carefully crafted to give full comfort equally in the most severe conditions as in everyday life. In 1993 Murphy & Nye became part of the Sixty Group.
