Dior uses only high quality materials for its suits, such as wool, ensuring each piece looks as good as it feels. The label merges functional, comfortable qualities with its signature design aesthetic to create pieces that will work for a range of occasions. Dior's pieces never fail to make a statement. Wool items are a great investment, and it pays to care for them properly. Knowing how to clean your wool suits will make sure the material stays looking good as new for years. We would always recommend checking the instructions on the care label before attempting to launder. Depending on the item, it is simple to spot clean or washable by hand or in the machine. Most wool is washable, with the main exception of structured pieces like suits, jackets and blazers, which are best spot cleaned. Otherwise, most wool can be either hand washed, or washed in the machine on a gentle cycle of 30°C or less, using a mild PH neutral detergent and turned inside out first. To minimize the risk of shrinkage, it is advised to soak in cold water before you put in the machine. The heat from the tumble dryer can also shrink your garment, so it is best to lay wool flat and allow to air dry away from sunlight and radiators. If pilling occurs after wearing, carefully remove with a fabric comb. Don’t miss our edit of Dior signature suits. Shop the range today.
